The government’s focus on infrastructure development is underscored by substantial allocations, including Rs. 84,586 crore (US$ 11.05 billion) for the IT and Telecom sectors and a 36% increase in allocation to the Ministry of Roads, amounting to Rs. 2.7 lakh crore (US$ 32.6 billion) for FY23-24.

The Bharatmala Pariyojana aims to develop 35 Multimodal Logistics Parks with an investment of Rs. 46,000 crore (US$ 5.5 billion), facilitating the handling of around 700 million metric tonnes of cargo.
